It opens slightly powdery-floral (from orris + rose), then moves into a woody-spicy middle with cedar and pepper. The dry-down is warm, musky, and slightly sweet-ambery with a soft earthy patchouli edge. So it’s more “clean woody amber” than deep oud or heavy oriental.
